This Year I joined African Outlet Experience at the 2012 Carnival Parade in San Francisco on May 27th. Had a wonderful time joining them by dancing as a villager girl and banging on a traditional bell called “oghene”. Taking this opportunity to share some of my experience with all these wonderful mostly new friends. What I mostly was able to capture with my little cell phone was Pre-Parade presence Starting with traditional African blessings. Managed to capture a couple of shots at the after-parade party too. Big up to everyone on the African Outlet troupe and much thanks to all who made it out to Mission area to see the parade! Judah and Horgan of African Outlet, I can’t thank you enough for bringing Africa to us (of course getting us all involved in the positive magic you bring) and so much more color to our world.

May 29, 2012This year thanks to Lower Polk Street Art Walk “Artists in the Alley” I was invited with my friends Christina Smith and Samantha Ross to participate by bringing our art for show and sale in Howeird Street Faire this year on May 13th! What a wonderful gathering of so many people, all walks of life! Samantha Ross was not in town this day but we brought her art anyway to honor her being on our team 
We also brought chalk which I give much thanks to all the wonderful people who got into drawing on the side walk around our display. Super Positive Vibes all around, big smiles, great outfits and so much color! <3 <3 <3
Deep Green Festival April 21st 2012
April 23, 2012Couldn’t have had a better time this Saturday April 21st 2012! I was invited by (Fashion Show Producer and Book Keeper) Samantha Ross to attend this year’s Deep Green Festival. Was a very down to earth gathering of people with positive, supporting and celebratory feeling all around. Making use of my incredibly low quality camera phone, I took some ok shots to share with the world.

Come see this magical performance entirely produced by local SF events and performance artists. Written by Michael Xavier and Daniel Knop. I have been given the honor (thanks to Michael Xavier and Samantha Ross) of being a featured visual artist in this play. Staring in this show as Abigail is an amazing rock star performer and graphic designer; the multi-talented and beautiful Casey Castille with Daniel Knop as Minister Samuel Parris. Some of the other amazing performers staring in the play, Kurt Brown, Samantha Ross, Nikki Arias, Sandi King, Jay Crawford, Mari Marjamaa and Sean McCall.
The next performance is Nov. 4th 2011. My signed Posters and hand-made voodoo dolls will be available for sale at the door.
